My best and affordable autumn lipsticks.

     It is that time of year when pumpkin spice rules all and happily hiding the extra pounds under layers is a joy. One of my personal favorite things about Autumn is the makeup. I am all about the dark eyes and vampy lips.
     When it comes to lipstick I am extremely picky for two reasons. One, I don’t want to have to reapply 20  times a day and two, I am of Irish and English descent, so I am pale AF.  Finding a lipstick that compliments my skin tone is a bitch. So without further ado here are my holy grail Fall picks.

     This duo is one of my go tos for my daily face. I use nyx lip liner in Nude Beige (which is a great dupe for Mac’s Strip Down) and Pacifica lip tint in Coconut Nectar. Not only is this the perfect nude for you pasty gals out there, but it is moisturizing and it smells divine. Plus the price is amazing as well.       With this couple I am bringing back a vintage classic. I mean come on, who doesn’t love the 90’s brown lip? I usually have a hard time finding a shade that doesn’t look like I just smeared mud on my mouth, but this was a pleasant surprise. I bought this Lasting Finish Lipstick from Rimmel in Coffee Shimmer on a whim. I was therapy shopping and thought “what the hell”. I am glad I did!       Anyone   who knows me knows  that I have a dark side. One of my favorite ways to indulge in that is in vampy lipsticks. This shade is from NYX Simply Vamp line. There are three reasons I love this lipstick. One, the staying power is awesome for the $6 price tag. Two, the name is She Devil, how sexy is that?! Lastly, it’s from NYX, I’m a die hard NYX girl.      This  is another favorite from the Simply Vamp collection that NYX offered. No, I don’t own the whole line, but as I am typing I kinda want to just go by the rest of them. Mine inner Disney witch is very intrigued by the idea. Speaking of Disney witch, that what my husband said this shade makes me look like; just another reason to love it. This shade is Enamoured and it is by far my favorite lipstick that I own. The burgundy shimmer is so sultry!       For the last lipstick I have to end with a beloved, timeless classic; the perfect red. This particular lipstick is a bit more in the higher price bracket but it is worth it. The slight blue tone to the red makes your teeth look whiter and the formula is a great matte but it doesn’t get cakey like some mattes tend to. The shade is called Tuscan Wine, which is perfect for a wine lover like me. This is my favorite shade of red and I have tried quite a few. If you wanna give it a whirl click here!
