DIY costume mega list 2017
Ok there is defiantly no more time to waste. I you clicked on this you need to get it together and pick a costume! Lucky for you, I have taken out all the guess work for you. This list is every diy costume I have done, from when I first started on YouTube to my most recent post. Without further ado, lets get to it.
The first costume I have is an old one but it is simple and easy. With this get up I decided to release my inner geek and don some Star Trek gear. The dress you can get here, and the rest of the costume is just a long sleeve black shirt, and black leggings. For. Shoes I just did black boots as well. Makeup for this can either be crazy creative, like this video here, or it can be simple like mine was. Not only is this festive but you are going to be warm and comfortable.
Ok The next costume I did was a witches costume with crazy fun makeup. With this video, first off no judging my tech skills when it comes to editing ha ha . This clothing look is actually really simple. All you need is striped tights, a black dress, boots, and a witches hat. The makeup is what makes this so fun and interesting.
The next costume is great. For parties with kids and it would be really easy to use in a group costume of some kind, say The Wizard Of OZ. This is another one that is super comfortable and warm The main thins I recommend needing for this are overalls of some kind and a fall colored flannel. Other than that be creative and do as you please. I went for the more sweet cartoon look with my make up. If you like that then please check out the video!

After that I did one of my all time favorite costumes. The makeup on this was one of the best things I have ever done and i wish I had an excuse to do stuff like it every day! The clothing is so easy. If you wanted to dress like a “boxer” just throw on some workout clothes and wrap your hands with cloth. Again the makeup is the main focus on this one. I know it looks a little intimidating but trust me it is fairly simple. Check out the video for a tutorial.
After this I decided to switch gears a bit. Instead of crazy make up I went for nostalgia. We are going to bring it back to the 90’s with this one. The first video is hair and make up and the second runs through the costume. I wanted to do this because I have an unhealthy love. For an ugly sweater. I know, I need help. Anyways, my psychosis aside, this is another look that is stupid simple and comfortable. The accessories should be simple to het a hold of. You can either borrow things from grandma, or mom, or you can go to claires and raid the racks there. Click here, here, and here for some examples Claire’s has to offer.
Getting back to the more girly side, this costume is mostly about the makeup. The outfit is extremely simple. Just pull that fancy dress out of your closet. You know, the one you want to wear but dont. well, you are welcome, I am giving you a reason to wear it. Where whatever you want for accessories and shoes but make sure you have a festive party hat. I made mine using this cut out here. If you want to buy one I suggest something fun like this. Now the makeup is pretty easy to follow if you watch the video I did, just make sure you are not short on time. The spots can take a while.
