Join The Dark Side!
For those of you that know me, or even just follow me on social media, you know I have four sides to my personality. The old lady, who loves her tea, romance novels, knitting, and baking. The goth who loves all things dark, creepy, supernatural, and black. The girly girl, who wants every day to be like the pages of a Lauren James website and who wants to do brunch and mimosas every chance she gets. Lastly, there is the 12 year old girl who is all about nostalgia. You know, watching Lizzie McGuire, wearing mood rings, the works. Right now, I am feeling the dark side.
The older I get I have become more intune with my closet and accessories, I am now trying to get things from all facets that will meld together if I decide to mix my multiple fashion personalities. Amazon is one of my guilty pleasures so I usually turn to them first when I am looking for anything. I seriously scored this week!
The first thing that I snached up was this beenie that I have been eyeballing for months!
COME ON! This thing is so kick ass! The studs on the top are little silver skulls and the rings on the side make it really unique. My favorite thing about this hat is the fact that it has a thin fleece lining on the inside. Right now, it is very cold and wet on the East Side so the extra insulation is much appreciated. One thing I was concerned about was the rings getting in the way or being annoying. Honestly, they are lightweight and the don't clank together, you can't even tell they are really there. If you love this as much as I do, click here. Big bonus is that it was only 10 bucks!!! Get on it quick though! There are only five left in my style!!!
The second thing I got was this little beauty. If you don't live under a rock, then you have no doubt seen the snapchat filter with the black lipstick and this style of septum ring. I wanted the filter to be a real life deal, so I made it real. I am a big chicken and I have a fear of needles. Biting the bullet long enough to get my first nose ring was a big deal for me. So, having a little clip on is actually nice. This is actually really comfortable to wear! I was worried that it would bug me a little but it doesn't at all. By the end of the day I forgot I was even wearing it. It is adjustable, I just recommend doing it very carefully so you don't snap off the little balls on the end. This was an awesome purchase for only $5!
The last thing I ordered as a spring summer piece. First, let me say that this is a snug fit, snugger than I wanted. I am hoping that with a few wash and wears, the fabric will give a little more. I ordered a large in this tank top and it fits like a snug medium. With that being said, the design is just too freaking cute!!! Not only is The Sound Of Silence one of my favorite songs but I am a coffee addict as well. Just a heads up, the fabric on this is relatively thin, so it will sheer out over time. I am actually thankful for this because all I have to do is throw on a cute bralette and I am summer ready! This tank was a whopping 10 dollars, but hurry and order because there are only 2 left!!!!
